For from the least of them even unto the greatest of them every one is given to covetousness; and from the prophet even unto the priest every one dealeth falsely- Jeremiah 6:13 (KJV).
Senior Catholic theologians issued a report on Thursday saying, “Jews can secure eternal salvation without converting to Christianity,” this is their latest refined stance on a vexed theological issue, the Times of Israel reports, and is confirmed by numerous sources and a statement issued by a group of Rabbis welcoming the “retreat from converting Jews.”
Addressing a question that has long blighted relations between the two faiths, the report also unequivocally states that the Church should not actively seek to convert Jews to Christianity, echoing the stance outlined by former Pope Benedict XVI in a 2011 book.
The report, drawn up by the Church’s “Commission for religious relations with the Jews,” goes further than Benedict however in effectively affirming that Jews can be saved independently of Christ.
“Although Jews cannot believe in Jesus Christ as the universal redeemer, they have a part in salvation, because the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable,” the report concludes, according to a summary released to the media.
The heresy could not be more obvious. There is no dual covenant theology, which is exactly what is being implied.
“Now that the Catholic Church has acknowledged the eternal Covenant between G-d and Israel, we Jews can acknowledge the ongoing constructive validity of Christianity as our partner in world redemption, without any fear that this will be exploited for missionary purposes.” – CJCUC Statement
This theology embraces a belief system, a false one at that, which holds that because of God’s covenant with Israel through Abraham, an automatic promise of salvation is bestowed on the Jews, and thereby abolishes the necessity for Jews to accept Christ, it further asserts that because of this independent saving grace, the need to convert Jews is not necessary. In other words, the covenant is being used as the saving grace, rather than Jesus Christ. That is absolutely false. That is not only heresy, it is not biblically sound doctrine. To suggest that the Jews do not require faith in Jesus Christ for salvation is plain and simple, a doctrine of devils. For whom did Jesus come to earth for? Just the Gentiles, that completely contradicts his ministry. He came to save ALL MANKIND, Jesus never exempted the Jews. Jesus spent all of his earthly ministry preaching to the Jews! As did the twelve apostles!
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. – Galatians 3:28 (KJV).
Everyone absolutely has to accept Jesus to receive eternal salvation. The covenant establishes a plan for Israel, but not a saving grace, only JESUS can save.
No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.- John 6:44 (KJV).
Even Peter when he preached to the Jews, told them the following:
19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord. 20 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: -Acts 3:19-20 (KJV).
While there is a covenant with the Jews, that is most assuredly everlasting and cannot be revoked, regardless of what “Jacobs Jews” do, no where in scripture or in this covenant does it say that salvation is obtainable without JESUS CHRIST. The entire time Jesus walked the earth with the twelve, they preached “repentance.” However, in a future study, I will show that the ministry of Jesus was for the Jews, his ministry differed from that of Paul, and that was because the Jews had failed to realize their Messiah was standing in their presence. Their rejection was the prophetic key that established a new plan for the Gentiles.
Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.-Matthew 13:52 (KJV).
As we all know, the Jews rejected Jesus, which is why Paul was commissioned by God to carry out the grafting in of the Gentiles. It was Paul who established the “church” and was made the apostle of the Gentiles. This resulted because of the Jews’ rejection of Jesus Christ. Remember God said that no Gentiles would be blessed apart from the Jews!
However, it is important to note that the new covenant, often erroneously taught as the covenant for the “Church,” (although the Church are partakers of the new Covenant) this covenant, which replaced the Mosaic Covenant, is a prophetic promise (covenant) that has not been fulfilled by Israel. As we collectively gather all the biblical passages, we see and Paul confirms that God had temporarily “suspended” his dealings with Israel, and by Israel, we are talking ONLY about the descendants of Jacob. When the “fullness of Gentiles come in,” then God will direct his attention back to Israel. This period of time after the Gentiles, is known to us prophetically as the “Time of Jacob’s Trouble.” (Jeremiah 30:7). We are told this very clearly in scripture:
For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. – Romans 11:25 (KJV).
God’s Abrahamic covenant with Israel is everlasting, however, the Mosaic covenant was conditional, notice the KEY WORD “IF” (conditional) “If ye will obey my voice” as opposed to the key word “WILL” (everlasting) in the Abrahamic Covenant. The New Covenant, although a future promise that has not been fulfilled for Israel, replaces the Mosaic Covenant. The new covenant, “which broke the veil of the law” (Matthew 27:51) was rejected by the Jews.
4 Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles’ wings, and brought you unto myself. 5 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:6 And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.7 And Moses came and called for the elders of the people, and laid before their faces all these words which the Lord commanded him.8 And all the people answered together, and said, All that the Lord hath spoken we will do. And Moses returned the words of the people unto the Lord. -Exodus 19:4-8 (KJV).
Whereas, in the Abrahamic Covenant, we see the words repeatedly, indicating an everlasting covenant: :
“God WILL make Abraham a Great Nation, God WILL bless Abraham, God Will Make Abraham’s name great, Abraham WILL be a blessing to the whole WORLD” (Genesis 12:2. 22:17, Genesis 17:4-14)

The Six Covenants God Made with the Descendants of Jacob, “Godly Israel”
|God’s Covenants||To||Purpose and Scriptural Reference|
|Noahic Eternal Covenant||All mankind||Genesis 6:18, 9:9-17|
|Abrahamic -Eternal and established all future Covenants (“will”)||Abraham||Genesis 12:1-3, 15:7-21|
|Mosaic -Temporal and Conditional (“if”)||Jews||Exodus 20:1-17|
|Sabbatic -Eternal (Never applied to the Church or the Gentiles)||Jews||Exodus 31:12-18 ( Ezekiel 44:24, 45:17, 46:1, 3-4, 12)|
|Land -Eternal||Jews||Deuteronomy 30:1-10|
|Davidic -Eternal||Jews||2 Samuel 7:12-13 God promised to establish the THRONE of David and upholds the “Seed” and Land Covenant

|New – Replaces the Mosaic Covenant and is a Future fulfillment||Jews||Jeremiah 31:31-34; Ezekiel 36:24-28 -This covenant establishes that the hearts of “Godly Israel” would be converted.
Jesus established this covenant, but it has not be fulfilled. This is a new covenant, and was granted automatically to the Church.
Key differences: previous covenants expressed promises of “earthly” and “physical” blessings, (land, nation, Kingdom) this covenant focuses on “SPIRITUAL.”
Spiritual: Forgiveness of sin, Holy Spirit, Members of the Body of Christ, New Heart, Wisdom (2 Corinthians 5:17)
Established between God and Israel alone (Ephesians 2:11-12).
*The Church is already grafted into this plan upon acceptance of Jesus Christ
As we all know, the Jews have failed to keep the Mosaic covenant, their largest failure was in recognizing and ACCEPTING Jesus as their savior. However, prophets of old and Jesus Christ himself told us that the Jews will eventually come to accept him as their savior. We also know this because prophecy tells us that Israel will become a holy nation filled with God’s priests (See Isaiah 60:1-5, Romans 11:26-29, Zechariah 8:20-23). This fulfillment is to be expected, God declared it, and it will come to fruition. So while the Abrahamic covenant cannot be revoked it only comes into effect upon the Jews accepting Jesus as their savior.
As we can see, these verses declare the glaring contradictions of the Vatican report stating that the Jews do not need to be converted for salvation. The Bible clearly indicates otherwise.
While Jesus walked the earth he told us how Israel would partake of the covenant blessings, stating:
37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not! 38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.39 For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord. -Matthew 23.37-39 (KJV).
This clearly tells us, that Jews shall confess these words, and they will repent and accept Jesus as their savior! Both John and Jesus taught repentance (See Matthew 3:1-2 and Matthew 4:17). While the Jews failed Jesus during his earthly ministry (which by the way, was in the prophetic plan of God), we know that the Jews that survive TRIBULATION (the Time of Jacob’s Trouble) will in fact REPENT and accept Jesus as their savior.
Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. – Daniel 9:24 (KJV).
The blessing of the covenant will only happen after Israel repents! (See Acts 2:37-39, 3:17-21, Romans 11:26, and Zechariah 12:1-14).
Romans 11 reveals God’s distinct plans for the Israel and the Gentiles. This illustration of the “olive tree” is a crucial piece of the prophetic puzzle and key to understanding Israel’s past, present, and future.
In Romans 9-11, penned by Paul, we are taught that all of Israel will eventually be saved. That means, that every Jew who survives and endures the Tribulation will accept Jesus as their savior. The survivors of Tribulation will inherit the promises of an earthly millennium kingdom, and will establish the nation of Godly Israel.
Paul also reiterates that there is no justification for ANYONE without the redemptive blood of Christ:
For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.-Romans 10:4 (KJV).
2 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: 23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; -Romans 3:22-25 (KJV).
The prophecy of the covenant will only be realized AFTER the JEWS REPENT. Then our God, who keeps his promises, will return to earth and establish HIS KINGDOM, and fulfill the promises of the nation of Israel. Israel will become “a kingdom of priests and a holy nation”
6 And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.-Exodus 19:6 (KJV).
All of this is future history, a prophecy and a covenant spoken long ago. It will happen. But as we can see, all of this hinges upon the REPENTANCE and acceptance of JESUS CHRIST!

The Times of Israel reports the following:
The belief that the only way to salvation is through belief in Christ is a fundamental tenet of every strand of Christianity.
But it has also been blamed for creating an evangelical tendency responsible for some of the darkest periods in the history of religion, that are tainted with violent anti-Semitic violence and persecution such as the crusades of the Middle Ages, the Spanish Inquisition, pogroms and more.
The latest report reiterates claims that it is only thanks to Christ’s death and resurrection that all people have the chance of salvation, but accepts that Jews can benefit from this without believing in him.
The authors appear to acknowledge that they are effectively squaring a theological circle.
How Jews being saved while not believing in Christ “can be possible remains an unfathomable mystery in the salvific plan of God,” they say.
The report, which does not constitute a formal change to official Catholic doctrine, was published to mark the 50th anniversary of the close of a landmark Vatican Council that attempted to draw a line under centuries of persecution of Jews based on Catholic teaching.
The council, widely known as Vatican II, disowned the concept of collective Jewish responsibility for the crucifixion of Christ, decried anti-Semitism and emphasized the shared heritage of the two faiths.
Relations between the two faiths have warmed since then and were helped by a 1998 report from the same commission which called on Catholics to repent for their failure to do more to prevent the Holocaust, while stopping short of blaming the Church as an institution for its silence under the leadership of wartime pope Pius XII.
Catholic-Jewish relations are said to have been bolstered by the election of the current pope, Francis, who has a long-standing friendship with Argentinian rabbi Abraham Skorka, with whom he jointly published a book of conversations about issues of ethics, morality and faith.
He is due to become the third pope to visit Rome’s main synagogue when he meets members of the Italian capital’s Jewish community on January 17.
The synagogue is located just across the River Tiber from the Vatican, in an area still known as the Ghetto where, under the orders of Francis’s predecessors, Jews were confined for more than three centuries until their emancipation at the end of the 19th Century.
Understanding the depth of this DECEPTION
I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan. -Revelation 2:9 (KJV)
On the crux of this retreat of converting Jews, a group of Orthodox Rabbis issued a statement calling for a partnership between the Catholic Church and the Jews. “To Do the Will of Our Father in Heaven: Toward a Partnership between Jews and Christians” was signed by more than 25 prominent Orthodox rabbis in Israel, the United States and Europe. It calls on the two faiths to work together to promote the system of ethics inherent in both Judaism and ‘Christianity’ (the profane usage of Christianity here is that the Catholic church is in fact apostate, and relies on works and sacraments for faith, defeating the message Jesus was trying to bring to the true Church) to meet the challenges of modern life.
“The real importance of this Orthodox statement is that it calls for fraternal partnership between Jewish and Christian religious leaders, while also acknowledging the positive theological status of the Christian faith. Jews and Christians must be in the forefront of teaching basic moral values to the world,” said Rabbi Shlomo Riskin, one of the statement’s initiators, and founder of CJCUC, member of the Israeli Rabbinate and the Chief Rabbi of Efrat. While not a direct response to the Church’s 1965 “Nostra Aetate,” “To Do the Will of Our Father in Heaven” was clearly influenced by Christianity’s new affirmation of the eternity of the Jewish covenant and the respect that Christian leaders have demonstrated toward Judaism and Jews in contemporary dialogues and religious encounters.
“Jewish thinkers have previously crafted statements like Dabru Emet in 2000 on Jewish-Christian relations and theology, but few Orthodox rabbis could go along with those theological and practical claims in light of their understanding of Jewish tradition. This proclamation’s breakthrough is that influential Orthodox rabbis across all centers of Jewish life have finally acknowledged that Christianity and Judaism are no longer engaged in a theological duel to the death and that Christianity and Judaism have much in common spiritually and practically. Given our toxic history, this is unprecedented in Orthodoxy.” said Rabbi Dr. Eugene Korn, Academic Director of CJCUC.
Last week, a group of British priests asked Pope Francis to revise the prayer for Jews prayed annually on Good Friday. The priests said the public prayer should no longer include a request for God to aid in the conversion of the Jews to faith in Christ. On January 17, Pope Francis will also visit Rome’s Great Synagogue. He will be the third pontiff to do so.
Another rabbi, David Rosen, who serves as international director of interreligious affairs for theAmerican Jewish Committee, added, “We need to work together to meet our common challenges: the assault of radical secularism, religious extremism and moral relativism on the heritage and dignity of humankind.”
According to the full statement issued by CJCUC, hostility and division between Jews and Christians has allowed the current climate of anti-Semitism and religious extremism to develop. It calls on the two groups to work together to teach the ethnical monotheism inherent to both.
Most significantly, the statement claims “Christianity is neither an accident nor an error, but the willed divine outcome and gift to the nations. In separating Judaism and Christianity, G-d willed a separation between partners with significant theological differences, not a separation between enemies.”
“Now that the Catholic Church has acknowledged the eternal Covenant between G-d and Israel, we Jews can acknowledge the ongoing constructive validity of Christianity as our partner in world redemption, without any fear that this will be exploited for missionary purposes,” the statement also said.
The statement also describes Jesus as a teacher who “majestically” defended the Torah, but it came no closer to recognizing Jesus as “Savior” or “Messiah,” even for Christians. In fact, the statement said the partnership between Jews and Christians “in no way minimizes the ongoing differences between the two communities and two religions.”
3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. -Romans 8:3-4 (KJV).
And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.-Acts 13:39 (KJV).
In a separate article, ‘Vatican’s call not to convert Jews won’t change anything’ posted by the Times of Israel, the following was noted:
Yad L’Achim chairman Rabbi Shmuel Lifschitz told Arutz Sheva that “this step is important because it gives validity to something that we already knew – that the official line of the Catholic Church is to prevent missionizing.”
“They worked to missionize intensively 50 and 60 years ago, but over the years the church made it known that that isn’t its way, and it can be said they haven’t worked to missionize for the last several dozen years. The Vatican also addressed the matter in 2011, and this (new) document is also important.”
However, Rabbi Lifschitz stated that the practical impact of the declaration by Pope Francis’s Vatican is in fact very limited.
“The thing is that the Catholics are one large movement in Christianity. But there’s the Protestant movement, which isn’t any less large, and they do not accept the authority of the pope and work to missionize intensively, mostly against Jews,” said the rabbi.
As a result, he predicted that the Vatican’s new report will have little impact, the TOI reports.
What this declaration does in essence, is confirms and attests to a false heresy promoting a satanic agenda. We are witnessing the promotion of a unified religion, and the groundwork is being established to usher in the antichrist. It is time that the world recognizes that the Roman Catholic Church is promoting a false theology and outright lies! This is just one of many.
And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. -Daniel 7:25 (KJV).
Whle I do agree that antisemitic behavior is rampant, and is most shocking when witnessed by Christians who should know better,the implied notion that converting Jews is anti-semitic, is far-fetched. Many Rabbi’s oppose the conversion and even forbid the reading of Daniel and other books in the bible. We must understand God’s sovereign plans for mankind, and that is for all mankind to REPENT and accept JESUS as their savior. We are commanded to share the gospel with everyone! .
Most significantly, the statement claims “Christianity is neither an accident nor an error, but the willed divine outcome and gift to the nations. In separating Judaism and Christianity, G-d willed a separation between partners with significant theological differences, not a separation between enemies,” The CJCUC statement reads.
This statement is true. There are three divine plans, ordained and implemented by God, for the church, the Gentiles and the Jews. For this reason alone we must support Israel, not harden our hearts towards them. But we also must be keenly aware of the differences between Jews and the synagogue of satan. And we must all understand that all mankind who want eternal salvation, must accept Jesus Christ as their savior. That is God’s plan for all of us, although the routes and the methods being implemented differ.
And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. – Genesis 12:3 (KJV).
We are to pray for the salvation of all mankind and we are commanded to preach the true Gospel of JESUS CHRIST. So, yes, we are instructed to “convert” Jews.
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. – Mark 16:15 (KJV).
Not all Christians are buying this heresy, though, in response to this nonsense,
In the Faithful Service of Jesus Christ,

30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.-Acts 17:30-31 (KJV).
The bible warns us of FOLLOWING false teachers and chasing after traditions of Man
Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils – 1 Timothy 4:1 (KJV).
Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ- Colossians 2:8 (KJV).
For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect -Matthew 24:24 (KJV).
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry – 2 Timothy 4:3-5 (KJV).
These are matters which have, to be sure, the appearance of wisdom in self-made religion and self-abasement and severe treatment of the body, but are of no value against fleshly indulgence- Colossians 2:23 (KJV).
Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.- 1 John 2:18 (KJV).
And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. -Revelation 18:4 (KJV).
The Covenant (Plan) Between GOD and ISRAEL
I am in the process of writing an in-depth study on this. But here is a brief summation of the covenants established with Israel. There is much to be said about this, and this article opened a can of worms, but one that needs to be addressed.
For nearly 2,000 years, God dealt directly with all mankind. After Adam and Eve, the worldwide flood (Noahic Covenant) and the confounding of the languages, God then established another plan of action with mankind. This plan was established by God through the commissioning of Abram (a Hebrew Gentile who God would later rename Abraham), out of the land of Ur, (See Genesis 11:28, 31, 15:7; Nehemiah 9:7).
With His call of Abraham, God created two separate plans for the Gentiles and the Jews. These plans established the unique relationship between God and the Jews, and the grafting in of the Gentiles. Because God already knew that the Jews would reject Christ. The plan for the Jews included: God entrusting them with His covenants, His word, and gave them the Mosaic Law, and the prophecy from the prophets. The ultimate promise that God gave Israel through his prophets and established in the covenants was an earthly kingdom (remember, the Church is promised a “heavenly kingdom) whereby the Jews would be distinguished among all the earth’s nations, with the Messiah ruling the kingdom. Little do they know, that Messiah is Jesus Christ!
The following scripture clearly indicates God’s three plans through the use of the three words: Jews, Greeks (Gentiles), and the Church. Each has its own ordained mission and prophetic plan:
31 Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.32 Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God:33 Even as I please all men in all things, not seeking mine own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved. -1 Corinthians 10:31–33 (KJV).
Through Paul, God revealed a secret, the mystery, which was the third plan–the Church, or the Body of Christ. Until the time of Paul, the Church was unknown, it was the mystery revealed only to Paul. God did not share this plan with the prophets, nor did Jesus tell his disciples. (Ephesians 2:11-22; 3:3-9;Colossians 1:26-27; Romans 16:25-27). Paul was only commissioned because the Jews rejected Jesus. Again, remember God said, that the Gentiles would be blessed through the Jews. Had the Jews obeyed and harkened to the voice of the Lord when he walked the earth, the Jews would have brought the message of salvation through Jesus to the Gentiles! This is very important to understand.
In Genesis 12, when God established his covenant, it would mark the beginning of the plan dealing specifically with the descendants of Jacob, “Israel.” It was through these descendants that God would bless the Gentiles. It is important to keep in mind that “church” did not exist at this time.
This new plan was established through the Abrahamic Covenant (Genesis 12).This covenant would be the “foundation” of all future covenants = Mosaic, Land, Sabbatic, Davidic, and New. Through this covenant, God said he would bless the offspring of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (Genesis 17:20–22).
Moreover, this covenant states that it is impossible for Gentiles to be blessed apart from Israel. The following chart reveals the unconditional Abrahamic Covenant. Notice the key words “WILL”
|Provisions of the Abrahamic Covenant||Scripture Reference|
|God will make Abraham a great nation||Genesis 12:2|
