Beast Technology: PayPal’s Crazy ‘Edible’ Alternative For Password Security

Passwords could be replaced by vein recognition, technology built into pills that are then swallowed, or direct implants into human bodies, according to PayPal.

Existing passwords are weak and easy to forget, and should be replaced by more secure methods, according to a presentation by PayPal’s head of developer advocacy, Jonathan Leblanc. Instead of being a series of characters that users must remember, those replacements would likely include keys that are eaten or implanted, he says.

“As long as passwords remain the standard methods for identifying your users on the web, people will still continue to use ‘letmein’ or ‘password123’ for their secure login, and will continue to be shocked when their accounts become compromised,” said Mr LeBlanc.

Security experts have long worried that systems can be compromised as a result of the weaknesses of passwords, which mean that the wrong people can get in and other people can get locked out of their own systems. Some proposals to fix them have included biometric systems like eye scans, but Leblanc says that we will instead have our passwords integrated with our body.

Proposals include vein recognition and heartbeat analysis. The technology could also be built into pills that would be swallowed and then powered by our stomach acid — they would detect the chemical make-up in the stomach of a person, and other information, and check for whether they should be allowed access.MOB by Lisa Muhar

These devices would allow “natural body identification,” by monitoring internal body functions like heartbeat, glucose levels and vein recognition, Mr LeBlanc told the Wall Street Journal.

It is also building other technologies with developers at 24-hour hackathons, he said.

“We were a founding member of the FIDO alliance, and the first to implement fingerprint payments with Samsung,” the company said a PayPal spokesperson.

“New PayPal-driven innovations such as one touch payments make it even easier to remove the friction from shopping. We’re always innovating to make life easier and payments safer for our customers no matter what device or operating system they are using.”

PayPal isn’t necessarily going to adopt those technologies, since Leblanc’s role is more about leading thought than actual technologies, he said. PayPal said that it has “no plans to develop injectable or edible verification systems”.

“It’s clear that passwords as we know them will evolve and we aim to be at the forefront of those developments,” the company said in a statement to The Independent.

This pill is not the MARK OF THE BEAST, it is the pre-cursor campaign to indoctrinate people. Making you believe that “password” security is safer if carried on your own body.  It is no accident that the headlines are flooded with “cyber attacks” and stories of “hacking” as that lends more credence to the idea that a “safer password method” is indeed needed. All a ploy, all a lie. There are other alternatives, like making longer and safer passwords. But of course, the companies will launch “breeches” to make this method of tracking possible…as we have seen in other headlines about Iphones that are incredibly easy to hack. coincidence, you decide. I think not.

And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not- 2 Peter 2:2-3 (KJV).

While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage – 2 Peter 2:19 (KJV).

“But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.” 2 Timothy 3:13 (KJV).

”..keep that which is avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called: Which some professing have erred concerning the faith…” (1 Timothy 6:20-21 KJV).

“And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. ” -Revelation 13:16-17 (KJV).
